Party LEGO Centerpieces

April 7, 2020

In 2015 I decided to construct Lego centerpieces for my graduation party.  I chose the birds from the Lego Ideas Series. I added a wooden base and painted it gold with an array of spring flowers to enhance the construction. My family and friends loved them.  We played the traditional “Hot Potato Game” and whoever was holding the potato when the music stopped took the centerpiece home.  The constructions were a topic of conversation during the entire party. The birds were a good choice and resulted in family and friends requesting additional models.

I just love my blue jay. I have it in a special place on my credenza where I can see it everyday. When I didn’t win one at the party I knew immediately that I would ask Joseph to make me one. Thanks Joe!
